a11Almost five years ago there was a radical change in the options for investors interested in participating in the real estate sector in Mexico. Fibra Uno, the first and largest Real Estate Investment Trust in Mexico, debuted on the Mexican Stock Exchange in March 2011 with an initial portfolio of 13 properties located in five states of the Mexican Republic - Chiapas, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Jalisco and Mexico City-, as a whole, the properties represented 514,750 square meters of profitable area, the price of placing the certificate was 19.50 pesos and they achieved an Initial Public Offer for 3,615 million pesos.

Román Meyer Falcón, Titular de la Sedatu dio a conocer la plataforma de autoproducción de vivienda “Decide y construye”, que será lanzada en diciembre del 2020, lo anterior fue durante la conferencia matutina del Presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
La plataforma de acceso público, tiene como objetivo ser un canal de comunicación en el que las familias que autoconstruyen sus viviendas puedan encontrar información precisa sobre edificación, y así los individuos puedan tomar mejores decisiones para su hogar.
“La gran mayoría de la población mexicana autoconstruye su vivienda: dos terceras partes de mexicanos autoproducen su vivienda. Por eso hemos conformado esta plataforma que orientará a la población mexicana sobre cómo llevar a cabo este proceso” .

Asimismo, Falcón explicó que “Decide y construye” estará integrada por tres tipos de contenido:
Información: asuntos sobre los programas y apoyos que ofrece el sector público para construir una casa; así como conocimientos referente a lo que se necesita antes de iniciar una obra, por lo que contará con videos y guías sobre los pasos que se necesitan en el proceso de edificación, planos y manuales de viviendas diseñadas de acuerdo al clima de diferentes regiones del país. Asimismo, orientación sobre los trámites para cumplir con la normatividad local.
Herramientas de autodiagnóstico: Que servirá para identificar las necesidades familiares y las condiciones de la vivienda actual para planear la obra, es decir, contará con una calculadora de precios reales que estarán por región para proyectar los costos de la vivienda. También, habrá cuestionarios que ayudarán a identificar una mejor opción de apoyo, y en caso de que las personas cumplan con los requisitos para acceder a alguno de los programas que se ofrecen mediante Conavi, SHF, Infonavit, y Fovissste.
